Charity Evening for The Floating Hospital

The Floating Hospital has been, since 1866, a charity hospital helping homeless families plagued by domestic violence and poverty, operating free of charge and regardless of insurance. Together, we can offer meaningful support for vulnerable families by ensuring that they have access to primary medical, dental, and mental health care. 

For over a century the Hospital accomplished their important work on a ship at the South Street Seaport and other docks, but today it is shuttle van transportation that links families in homeless shelters throughout the Boroughs to the Hospital, enabling access to the care they need to overcome the trauma of their circumstances. The shuttle service is essential and not covered by Medicaid or other government programs. 

Show your support for these most vulnerable families—on February 8, 2017 Rosenberg & Co. will host a fundraiser for a new shuttle van, a costly yet deeply valuable investment. As a special feature, images from the Hospital’s incredible photographic archive will be on display, and select prints available in limited-run books.
